Clever Book Studio is a pocket bindery — shelf lists, margin marks, chapter timers, and reading notes on iPhone. This page says what the app may access, what stays in your private folio, and what we never pass to book advertisers or reading-data brokers.

Scope
This Privacy Policy applies to the Clever Book Studio mobile app on the Apple App Store and to public pages hosted on this domain. It is written for readers using the app and visitors reading this page.
Information
Clever Book Studio does not require your legal name, email, phone, mailing address, or payment card for core reading tools.
Titles, shelf tags, quotes, and notes you add remain for your in-app folio. We do not reuse them for targeted advertising or resale.
Remote content
When the app opens optional public material — for example a linked catalog page — it may load that content from a public URL. Those pages are generic; nothing from your private folio is sent upstream.
Camera & photos
If you photograph a cover or a page, Clever Book Studio may request camera or photo library access only when you choose to capture. Contacts and precise location stay unused unless a future feature clearly needs them and this policy is updated.
Device
Sessions and notes stay in on-device storage. Diagnostics you voluntarily share with Apple follow Apple’s privacy terms.
Hosting
Infrastructure partners operate this policy page and any public routes on this domain. They may retain traffic logs needed for security and uptime under their own practices.
Minors
Clever Book Studio is meant for users 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. Contact App Store support if a minor saved data by mistake and we will help clear it where we can.
Retention & security
Logs you keep in Clever Book Studio remain under your control on your device. Delete shelves in-app or uninstall to wipe local storage.
We apply reasonable safeguards to hosted assets. No service is perfectly secure — treat reading notes like a locked commonplace book, not a public review wall.
Your choices
Leave Clever Book Studio whenever you choose. Revoke camera, photo, or network access in iOS Settings for an offline folio where supported.
Updates
